Automatic Induction Sealing Machine for PET Bottles

The SUNAURA benchtop automatic induction sealer delivers true continuous non-contact foil sealing at up to 10 m/min on a single worktop footprint. Built for small-batch PET bottle lines — essential oils, e-liquids, oral liquids, and small vials — with a 1500W air-cooled power stage and integrated conveyor. CE-certified and factory-direct.

Product Description

The SUNAURA automatic induction sealing machine for PET bottles is a compact, economical benchtop continuous induction sealer designed specifically for small-scale and start-up packaging operations. The entire sealing unit and conveyor sit on a single worktop footprint — about the size of a small office printer — so it drops onto a standard packing bench without a dedicated floor-standing frame. The cabinet is painted cold-rolled steel with a stainless-steel work surface, and the high-frequency output stage uses a transistor-based control circuit for stable, consistent power across long shifts.

Its 1500W generator handles sealing diameters from Φ20 to Φ50mm and bottle heights from 40 to 200mm at conveyor speeds up to 10 m/min. Air cooling means no water hookup, no chiller, and no drain — just plug it in, set the power and speed dials, and start sealing. This is the sweet spot for essential oil brands, e-liquid producers, oral liquid manufacturers, and cosmetic serum bottlers who need a professional tamper-evident seal without investing in a full inline line.

Every unit undergoes a 48-hour continuous run test before shipment and ships CE certified. Our engineering team can run sample seals on your own bottles and foil liners before you place the order — just send a carton of empties to our Qingdao factory.

Key Features & Benefits

  • True continuous non-contact sealing: Bottles move along the belt beneath the RF head — no physical touch, no cap wear, consistent seal repeat after repeat.
  • Compact tabletop footprint: The entire sealer + conveyor fits on one worktop, taking roughly 1.15 m of bench length. Ideal for labs, co-packers, and start-up operations with limited floor space.
  • Adjustable conveyor speed and sealing power: Two independent dials let you fine-tune dwell time and RF energy for different foil liner thicknesses and cap sizes.
  • Air-cooled, no water hookup: Integrated fan cooling eliminates the need for a chiller, water supply, or drain. Plug in and operate — lower installation cost and fewer maintenance points.
  • Automatic over-current and over-temperature protection: The transistor control circuit monitors power stage temperature and shuts down safely if limits are exceeded, protecting the generator from thermal damage.
  • CE-compliant construction: Painted cold-rolled steel cabinet with stainless steel work surface, shielded RF head, and emergency stop — meets European EMC and safety requirements.
  • Fast payback for small-batch packers: Entry-level price point with no recurring consumables beyond foil liners. Most customers recover the investment within a single production quarter.

How Induction Sealing Works

Induction bonding is a non-contact process that fuses an aluminum foil liner to the container mouth using electromagnetic energy. On this benchtop machine, the cycle happens as the bottle travels under the sealing head on the conveyor belt:

  1. Capped PET bottle enters under the sealing head. The cap, pre-lined with a foil-backed disc (aluminum foil + wax layer + pulp board + heat-seal film), travels along the benchtop conveyor beneath the RF coil head.
  2. High-frequency field induces current in the foil. The transistor generator produces a 20–100 kHz alternating magnetic field that passes through the plastic cap and induces eddy currents directly in the aluminum foil layer.
  3. Foil heats — wax melts, polymer film bonds to rim. Resistive heating in the foil raises its temperature almost instantly. The wax layer melts and absorbs into the pulp board (staying inside the cap), while the heat-seal film on the underside of the foil melts and fuses to the PET bottle rim.
  4. Cap unscrewed — foil seal remains. When the end user twists off the cap, the pulp liner stays captured inside the cap, leaving the aluminum foil disc bonded to the bottle mouth as a visible, tamper-evident, hermetic seal.
  5. Bottles exit on the same belt. Sealed bottles continue along the conveyor to labeling or packaging — no cooling station required, since the plastic neck never gets hot enough to deform.

Is This the Right Benchtop Sealer for You?

This model is the right fit if your operation matches all four of the following. If you fall outside any of them, our team can recommend a different SUNAURA model:

  1. Cap diameter between Φ20 and Φ50 mm: This head covers small to medium necks — typical of essential oil droppers, e-liquid bottles, oral liquid vials, and serum bottles. If your caps are wider (e.g., wide-mouth cosmetic jars over 60 mm), look at our inline models instead.
  2. Throughput under roughly 100–150 bottles/min: At 10 m/min conveyor speed with 30 mm caps, expect around 80–120 bottles per minute. If you need 200+ BPM, step up to a floor-standing 2000W or 2300W model.
  3. Benchtop or single-operator production: One operator places capped bottles on the left end of the belt and collects sealed bottles on the right. No line integration needed — ideal for batch work, contract packing, and R&D labs.
  4. Ambient, indoor use with no water supply required: Air-cooled operation means no chiller, no water lines. If you run 24/7 shifts or need to seal large-diameter caps continuously, consider a water-cooled high-power model instead.

Troubleshooting Guide — Common Issues & Solutions

Benchtop induction sealers are robust, but small-batch operators occasionally hit seal quality or setup issues. Below are the most common problems we diagnose remotely, their likely causes, and fixes. Always disconnect power before inspecting the sealing head.

ProblemPossible CausesSolutions
Weak or incomplete seal on PET bottlesConveyor speed too fast for the cap size; sealing head gap too large; power dial set too low; foil liner thickness mismatched.
  • Reduce conveyor speed by 20% and re-test with a fresh set of bottles.
  • Lower the sealing head so the gap between head bottom and cap top is 2–5 mm.
  • Increase power output in 10% increments, testing between each step.
  • Verify you are using induction-grade PET-bottom foil liners, not pressure-sensitive liners.
Foil not heating at allNo RF output; sealing head cable loose; non-induction foil loaded; cap not passing under center of head.
  • Confirm the power indicator light is solid and the unit has reached operating temperature.
  • Check the sealing head connector at the back of the cabinet — reseat firmly.
  • Confirm liners contain a visible aluminum layer (hold up to light).
  • Adjust the side bottle guide so each cap passes centered under the head.
Foil seal off-center on bottle mouthSide guides crooked; bottle tracking off; cap not centered on bottle neck.
  • Realign the adjustable side guides so bottles travel straight through the head center.
  • Check that the conveyor belt runs true — adjust tracking if bottles drift sideways.
  • Inspect caps for proper seating on the bottle; off-center caps cause off-center seals.
Over-temperature alarm triggers mid-batchContinuous run too long for duty cycle; fan vents blocked; ambient room temperature over 40°C.
  • Power down and let the unit cool for 15–20 minutes before restarting.
  • Clear dust from the fan intake on the side of the cabinet with compressed air.
  • Improve ventilation around the machine; leave at least 20 cm clearance on both sides.
Bottles tip over or jam on beltBottle height exceeds 200 mm max; side guides too tight; conveyor speed too high for tall narrow bottles.
  • Confirm all bottles are within the 40–200 mm height window.
  • Widen side guide gap to 1–2 mm more than the widest bottle diameter.
  • Slow the conveyor — tall, narrow PET dropper bottles are unstable at high belt speeds.
Seal looks good but peels off easilyFoil liner bottom film not matched to PET; wet or greasy bottle neck; cap torque too low.
  • Switch to a PET-specific heat-seal film liner (some liners are formulated for HDPE).
  • Wipe bottle necks dry before capping — condensation prevents film bonding.
  • Verify hand-tightened caps are fully seated; loose caps allow foil to bridge off the rim.

Frequently Asked Questions

What bottle sizes can this PET bottle sealer handle?

The sealing head covers cap diameters from Φ20 to Φ50 mm and container heights from 40 to 200 mm. This covers most standard PET dropper bottles (10–60 ml), e-liquid chubby bottles, oral liquid vials, and small serum bottles. Send us your actual bottle dimensions and we will confirm before you order.

Do I need a water connection to run this machine?

No. This benchtop model is fully air-cooled with an integrated fan. There is no water inlet, no drain, and no chiller to maintain. Just plug into a standard 110V or 220V wall outlet and it runs. This is one reason it is popular in labs and small production rooms.

How many PET bottles per minute can it seal?

Conveyor speed is adjustable from 0 to 10 m/min. At a typical 30 mm cap spacing, expect roughly 80–120 bottles per minute. Exact output depends on cap diameter, bottle material, and how much dwell time your specific foil liner needs — we tune this on sample bottles before shipment.

Can I use it on glass bottles, or only PET?

It works on any non-metal container: PET, HDPE, PP, and glass all seal well. The key requirement is that the liner’s bottom film matches the container material. PET bottles need PET-formulated liners; glass bottles need glass-rated liners. We will recommend the correct liner type for your containers.
