QINGDAO, China — SunAura Machinery has completed factory acceptance testing (FAT) and shipped a 15-station turnkey packaging line to a Mexican food producer specializing in baked goods and snack bars. The order, placed in June 2026 and scheduled for commissioning at the client’s Guadalajara plant in mid-October, marks SunAura’s third complete-line delivery to the Latin American market this year.

What the Line Includes
The Guadalajara-bound system integrates six major equipment categories into a single synchronized flow, all controlled from one HMI. The client approached SunAura after its previous single-vendor line suffered three unplanned stoppages in its first quarter, each lasting more than eight hours.
| Station | Equipment | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | Servo pillow packaging machines (4 lanes) | Individual flow-wrap of snack bars and biscuit packs |
| 5–6 | Multihead weigher + Z-type conveyor | Accurate weighing for multi-packs of loose snacks |
| 7–8 | Automatic case erector + top-case sealer | Forming and sealing corrugated shipping cases |
| 9–10 | Inline shrink wrapping tunnel | Multipack bundling of 6–12 retail packs |
| 11–12 | Strapping machine + gantry palletizer | Unitizing pallet loads for export shipping |
| 13–15 | Modular conveyor system + checkweigher + metal detector | Product flow control and quality inspection |
Why the Client Chose a Single-Vendor Line

According to the client’s operations director, the deciding factor was SunAura’s willingness to take responsibility for the entire line rather than supplying isolated machines. “We’d been burned by integrating equipment from three different vendors before,” he explained during the FAT. “No one would own the handoffs. With SunAura, one HMI runs everything, and one engineering team is accountable for the whole line.”
The line was subjected to a 72-hour continuous FAT in our Qingdao workshop before crating. It ran the client’s own product samples — 40 g protein bars and 200 g biscuit packs — at 90% of rated speed, with our engineers tracking OEE, seal integrity and case-erector uptime. Final OEE logged during FAT was 94.2% over the 72-hour window.
Commissioning Plan for Mexico
Two SunAura service engineers will fly to Guadalajara in mid-October for on-site commissioning. The plan covers:
- Mechanical installation verification and conveyor alignment
- HMI recipe configuration for the client’s five SKUs
- Operator training: 2 days for line operators, 1 day for maintenance staff
- Acceptance test run at full rated speed (target: 1,200 packs/hour per lane)
Remote diagnostics are included as standard: the line’s PLC connects to SunAura’s cloud monitoring platform, so our engineers in Qingdao can review fault logs and adjust parameters remotely — part of the after-sales service package that ships with every turnkey line.
