QINGDAO, China — SunAura Machinery has successfully completed the TUV Rheinland factory audit for its manufacturing facility in Qingdao, confirming compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and CE machine safety directives for all export models. The audit, conducted over three days in late September, covered the welding shop, assembly floor, electrical cabinet build area, and final testing bays.

The audit strengthens the compliance evidence that food and pharma buyers now require in every proposal — one of the five supplier-side trends covered in our 2026 food packaging trends analysis.
What the Audit Covered
The TUV audit was not a paperwork review. The auditor walked every workstation, reviewed production records for the past 12 months, and witnessed two machines undergoing final FAT before shipping. Key areas examined included:
- Welding and fabrication quality — material traceability for stainless steel frames, weld procedure specifications, and NDT records
- Electrical safety — cabinet wiring to IEC 60204-1, emergency stop circuits, and IP ratings on enclosures
- Final testing protocol — every machine runs a 4-hour loaded test before shipment, with test records signed off by both QC and production
- Document control — CE technical files, user manuals in English, and declaration of conformity for each machine model
The audit resulted in zero major non-conformances. Two minor observations — related to label placement on two cable bundles — were corrected within the audit week.
What This Means for European Buyers

For buyers in the EU, a TUV-audited supplier means shorter customs clearance and simpler insurance documentation. More practically, it means the CE technical file that ships with every machine has been independently verified — not just self-declared. European food producers selling to major retailers (Carrefour, Tesco, Metro) increasingly require a TUV or SGS audit report as part of their supplier qualification, and we can now provide that on request.
Our certifications page has been updated with the latest TUV audit report, CE declarations, and SGS test certificates for each machine category.

Why Independent Audit Matters
Any factory can print a CE logo on a brochure. The difference is whether an independent auditor has walked the floor, checked the test records, and confirmed that the machine being shipped matches the machine in the technical file. We’ve all seen photos on Alibaba of gleaming machines that arrive looking very different. The TUV audit is the guarantee that what we show in the workshop display is what gets built, tested, and shipped.
For buyers preparing a supplier audit for their own quality team, we now offer a virtual factory tour conducted by our QC manager — live video walkthrough of the welding shop, assembly floor and testing bays, with the TUV audit report available for download. Book a virtual tour through the contact page.
Need audit documentation for your supplier qualification? Download our TUV audit summary, CE declarations and ISO certificates from the certifications page. If your quality team requires a specific audit format or additional documentation, send the checklist through the contact form and our QA department will prepare the package within 3 working days.
The TUV audit is valid for three years, with a surveillance audit scheduled for 2027. We’ll post the full audit report (redacted for confidentiality) on the certifications page once it’s officially issued. Customers visiting us at All in Print China 2026 in Shanghai can request a printed copy at our booth.
