CHICAGO, IL — SunAura Machinery is showcasing its latest servo-driven packaging platforms at PACK EXPO International 2026, held September 23–25 at McCormick Place. The company’s booth features live demonstrations of a new collaborative-robot palletizer, an upgraded servo pillow wrapper, and a fully integrated end-of-line cell that connects case erecting, sealing, strapping and stretch wrapping on a single HMI.

What’s New on the Show Floor
PACK EXPO has always been the industry’s clearest read on where packaging automation is heading — and this year, three themes dominate the aisles: compact robotic cells, servo-driven flexibility, and equipment that runs recyclable mono-materials. SunAura’s exhibit is built around those three threads.
The headline demonstration is the new collaborative robot palletizer, a compact cobot cell rated for up to 18 kg per pick. Unlike the heavy-duty industrial arms SunAura also builds, this cobot works without a full safety fence, making it a practical fit for mid-volume food and beverage producers who don’t have the floor space or throughput to justify a high-level gantry system. It pairs directly with the company’s turnkey packaging lines, so buyers can see the handoff from wrapper to palletizer live on the show floor.
Servo Pillow Wrapper with Quick-Change Forming Set

The second machine running at the booth is an upgraded servo-driven pillow packaging machine with a new quick-change forming set. Operators can swap from a 100 mm candy bar pocket to a 300 mm biscuit pocket in under eight minutes, down from the 25–30 minutes typical on earlier servo models. That matters for co-packers and contract packers who run short, varied SKU batches — the same labor-shortage problem we discussed in our recent end-of-line automation buyer framework.
The wrapper also now supports recyclable mono-PE and PLA films on the same sealing jaw, a direct response to the EU PPWR and to buyers’ questions about running recyclable packaging formats. We’ll be publishing a detailed technical breakdown of the film-tuning parameters after the show.
Integrated End-of-Line Cell
The third demonstration ties together four stations: an automatic case erector, a carton sealer, an inline strapping machine, and a rotary-arm stretch wrapper. What’s new this year is the unified HMI: a single touchscreen monitors all four stations, surfaces faults in plain language, and records changeover times per SKU — the three questions we tell buyers to ask before they sign a PO.
| Booth Demonstration | Key Spec | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Collaborative robot palletizer | Up to 18 kg/pick, no safety fence required | Mid-volume food, cosmetics, e-commerce |
| Servo pillow wrapper (quick-change) | <8 min film/format changeover; runs mono-PE & PLA | Co-packers, bakeries, snack producers |
| Integrated end-of-line cell | 4 stations on one HMI; OEE data logged | 1,500–3,000 cases/hour operations |
Meet the Engineering Team at the Show
Sales director Ethan Wang and lead applications engineer Monica Chen are on the booth all three days, taking live factory-layout submissions from buyers who want a preliminary line recommendation before they leave Chicago. If you’re attending and want to walk through your own throughput numbers, stop by — or book a meeting in advance through the contact page.
Couldn’t make it to PACK EXPO? You can still request the booth’s full datasheet package — including the cobot palletizer CAD layout, servo wrapper film-tuning guide, and end-of-line cell OEE test data — through the contact form. Existing customers looking for spares or remote diagnostics after the show can find support resources in the after-sales service portal.
After the show, SunAura’s engineering team returns to Qingdao to begin commissioning the first two US-bound cobot cells, scheduled for delivery in Q4 2026. More photos and video from the booth will be added to the news section and exhibition gallery over the coming week.
