Troubleshooting Guide

Symptom: Pallet does not stop at wrapping center

Cause: Photo-eye sensor misaligned, dirty, or faulty. PLC program timing incorrect. Conveyor speed too fast for braking distance.

Solution: Clean and realign photo-eye sensors. Check sensor output signal with multimeter. Adjust PLC deceleration timing. Reduce conveyor approach speed. Verify sensor mounting bracket is secure.

Symptom: Film does not attach automatically to load

Cause: Film clamp mechanism worn, pneumatic pressure insufficient, or film tail too short. Welding element dirty or faulty (if heat weld type).

Solution: Check pneumatic pressure (minimum 5 bar). Inspect and clean film clamp pads. Adjust film tail length setting. Clean welding element if applicable. Check solenoid valve operation. Replace worn clamp pads if necessary.

Symptom: Conveyor runs but turntable does not rotate

Cause: Turntable motor overload tripped, VFD fault, drive chain broken, or pallet not properly located.

Solution: Check VFD display for error code. Reset motor overload protector. Inspect drive chain for breakage or excessive slack. Verify pallet locating pins engaged. Check turntable bearing for seizure. Contact support if VFD error persists.

Symptom: Wrapped pallet has loose film at bottom

Cause: Insufficient bottom reinforcement revolutions, film tension too low at start, or film not properly clamped at beginning of cycle.

Solution: Increase bottom reinforcement revolutions by 1-2 in program settings. Increase initial film tension. Verify film clamp mechanism holds film securely at start. Check film roll is feeding freely without drag. Ensure pallet is properly centered on turntable.
